²For Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time God had told him. ³Abraham named his son whom Sarah bore to him Isaac [laughter]. ⁴And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. ⁵Abraham was a hundred years old when Isaac was born. ⁶And Sarah said, God has made me to laugh; all who hear will laugh with me. ⁷And she said, Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children at the breast? For I have borne him a son in his old age! [Heb. 11:12.] ⁸And the child grew and was weaned, and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.
