4 Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gil´e-ad, and fought with E´phra-im: and the men of Gil´e-ad smote E´phra-im, because they said, Ye Gil´e-adites are fugitives of E´phra-im among the E´phra-imites, and among the Manas´sites.
