Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with the cymbals.
Moreover, Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests sounded trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
On that day then, David delivered for the first time this psalm of thanksgiving to the Lord into the hand of Asaph and his brothers:
Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name;make known His deeds among the peoples.
Sing to Him, sing praise to Him,recount all His wonders.
Glory in His holy name;let the heart of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Seek the Lord and His strength;seek His face continually.
