Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked,from the throng of the workers of iniquity;
they sharpen their tongue like a sword,and bend their bows to shoot their arrows—bitter words,
that they may shoot in secret at the blameless;suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
They harden themselves in an evil matter;they talk privately of laying snares;they say, “Who will see them?”
They devise injustice,saying “We have perfected a secret plot.”Both the inward thought of man and the heart are deep.
But God will suddenly shoot them with an arrow;they will be wounded.
They will bring ruin on themselvesby their own tongues;all who see them will flee away.
