3 And they arrested them, and put them in jail until the next day, for it was already evening.
4 But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men became about five thousand.
5 And it came to be, on the next day, that their rulers and elders and scribes assembled in Yerushalayim,
6 as well as Ḥanan the high priest, and Qayapha, and Yoḥanan, and Alexander, and as many as were of high priestly descent.
7 And having placed them in the middle, they asked, “By what power or in what Name did you do this?”
8 Then Kĕpha, filled with the Set-apart Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Yisra’ĕl:
