57 And the time was filled for Elisheḇa to give birth, and she bore a son.
58 And her neighbours and relatives heard how יהוה had shown great compassion to her, and they rejoiced with her.
59 And it came to be, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child. And they were calling him by the name of his father, Zeḵaryah.
60 And his mother answering, said, “Not so, but he shall be called Yoḥanan.”
61 And they said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.”
62 Then they motioned to his father, what he would like him to be called.
63 And having asked for a writing tablet, he wrote, saying, “Yoḥanan is his name.” And they all marvelled.
