46 and said to them, “Thus it has been written, and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day,
47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name to all nations, beginning at Yerushalayim.
48 “And you are witnesses of these matters.
49 “And see, I am sending the Promise of My Father upon you, but you are to remain in the city of Yerushalayim until you are clothed with power from on high.”
50 And He led them out as far as Bĕyth Anyah, and lifting up His hands He blessed them.
51 And it came to be, while He was blessing them, that He was parted from them and was taken up into the heaven.
52 And they, having bowed down to Him, returned to Yerushalayim with great joy,
