44 And the one who was delivering Him up had given them a signal, saying, “Whomever I kiss, it is He – seize Him and lead Him away safely.”
45 And coming, going straight up to Him, he said to Him, “Rabbi, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.
46 And they laid their hands on Him and seized Him.
47 And one of those standing by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
48 And יהושע answering, said to them, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs, to take Me?
49 “Daily I was with you in the Set-apart Place teaching, and you did not seize Me. But let the Scriptures be filled.”
50 And they all left Him and fled.
