2 Siḥon sovereign of the Amorites, who dwelt in Ḥeshbon, ruling from Aro‛ĕr, which is on the bank of the wadi Arnon, from the middle of that wadi, and half Gil‛aḏ, even as far as the wadi Yabboq, the border of the children of Ammon,
3 and the desert plain from the Sea of Kinneroth eastward as far as the Sea of the Araḇah, the Salt Sea, the way to Bĕyth Yeshimoth, and southward below the slopes of Pisgah,
4 and the border of Og̅, sovereign of Bashan, who was of the remnant of the Repha’ites, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Eḏre‛i,
5 and ruled in Mount Ḥermon, and in Salḵah, and in all Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Ma‛aḵathites, and the half of Gil‛aḏ as far as the border of Siḥon sovereign of Ḥeshbon.
6 Mosheh the servant of יהוה and the children of Yisra’ĕl had smitten them. And Mosheh the servant of יהוה had given it as a possession to the Re’uḇĕnites, and to the Gaḏites, and to half the tribe of Menashsheh.
7 And these are the sovereigns of the land which Yehoshua and the children of Yisra’ĕl smote beyond the Yardĕn, on the west, from Ba‛al Gaḏ in the Valley of Leḇanon as far as Mount Ḥalaq that goes up to Sĕ‛ir, which Yehoshua gave to the tribes of Yisra’ĕl as a possession according to their divisions,
8 in the mountain country, and in the low country, and in the desert plain, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the South, the Ḥittites, the Amorites and the Kena‛anites, the Perizzites, the Ḥiwwites, and the Yeḇusites:
