Now a great multitude of people was following Him, including women who were mourning and singing dirges for Him.
But Yeshua, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but for yourselves and your children.
For indeed, the days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are barren, and the wombs that never gave birth, and the breasts that did not feed.’
’Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’
”For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
Others, two evildoers, were also led away to be put to death with Him.
When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified Him and the evildoers, one on His right and the other on His left.
