19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”
20 Then Yeshua began to denounce the towns where most of His miracles had happened, because they did not turn from their sins.
21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have turned long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 Nevertheless I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the Day of Judgment than for you.
23 And you, Capernaum? Will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will go down to Sheol! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.
24 Nevertheless I tell you that it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom on the Day of Judgment than for you.”
25 At that time Yeshua said in response, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and discerning and revealed them to infants.
