1 Again, one preparing to sail, and about to journey over raging waves, Calleth upon a piece of wood more rotten than the vessel that carries him;
2 For that vessel the hunger for gains devised, And an artificer, even wisdom, built it;
3 And your providence, O Father, guideth it along, Because even in the sea you gave a way, And in the waves a sure path,
4 Shewing that you can save out of every danger, That so even without are a man may put to sea;
