Thy judgments righteous, O Lord, which thou of old forth gave,I did remember, and myselfby them comforted have.
Horror took hold on me, becauseill men thy law forsake.
I in my house of pilgrimagethy laws my songs do make.
Thy name by night, Lord, I did mind, and I have kept thy law.
And this I had, because thy wordI kept, and stood in awe.
Thou my sure portion art alone, which I did chuse, O Lord:I have resolv'd, and said, that Iwould keep thy holy word.
With my whole heart I did entreatthy face and favour free:According to thy gracious wordbe merciful to me.
