The word that cometh from thy mouthis better unto meThan many thousands and great sumsof gold and silver be.
Thou mad'st and fashion'dst me: thy lawsto know give wisdom, Lord.
So who thee fear shall joy to seeme trusting in thy word.
That very right thy judgments areI know, and do confess; And that thou hast afflicted mein truth and faithfulness.
O let thy kindness merciful,I pray thee, comfort me,As to thy servant faithfullywas promised by thee.
And let thy tender mercies cometo me, that I may live;Because thy holy laws to mesweet delectation give.
Lord, let the proud ashamed be;for they, without a cause,With me perversely dealt: but Iwill muse upon thy laws.
