O let thy kindness merciful,I pray thee, comfort me,As to thy servant faithfullywas promised by thee.
And let thy tender mercies cometo me, that I may live;Because thy holy laws to mesweet delectation give.
Lord, let the proud ashamed be;for they, without a cause,With me perversely dealt: but Iwill muse upon thy laws.
Let such as fear thee, and have knownthy statutes, turn to me.
My heart let in thy laws be sound, that sham'd I never be.
My soul for thy salvation faints;yet I thy word believe.
Mine eyes fail for thy word: I say,When wilt thou comfort give?
